RE: Notes of Graduation Committee Meeting: 5/10/06

Present: H. Poremski, C. Smith, M. Stuart, B. Scofield, C.Donlon

~Committee members were encouraged to enroll in the “Critical Friends”training scheduled for June 19, 20, and 21. The course deals withstrategies for managing meetings and discussions with greater efficiency.Three graduate credits are being offered for participation.

~ The committee examined one student’s photography independent study application.

~Bev presented her proposal for revising the CSL program guidelines. The committee agreed thatthe revisions made sense. Bev plans to attend the May 15 P&C meeting toseek Board approval.

~ Bev will ask her contact atRandolph Union High School to provide us with their criteria for evaluatingCapstone presentations.

~ At our last meeting of theyear Emily Moran and Megan Shipman will present their pilot Capstoneprojects. Panels made up of committee members and representatives fromthe faculty will act as judges. All committee members should

plan to take part.
