Mrs. Weldon's Fourth Grade Class
Mrs. Weldon is perfect! She teaches us a lot. She is very interested in Vermont history. She has a great sense of humor and uses it a lot. She has taught us about rules and laws, how the government works in the United States, and the states and capitals. We are learning about the moon. We use an internet site to see the moon every day.

We also have Margie in our classroom. Margie is a paraprofessional that works in our room. Hockey and John LeClair are very important to her. She loves cats! She hates snakes!

This is Mrs. Weldon's guinea pig "Truffles." Truffles loves alfalfa. Every week one of us takes care of her. Sometimes she bites, if you don't support her feet. If you move too fast, she might also bite you. Her bites are like pinching.

We are doing two pride projects. Every day, we take the temperature of the outside and we post it in the lower block wing and the lunchroom. This helps them know if it is too cold to go outside for recess. We are also helping in the lunch room. Every day, three people go and help serve to keep the lunchline moving quicker. Everyone gets a turn once a week.

This is a bird's eye view of our classroom.  Our classroom has a lot of pillows in it. We have a new carpet in our room. We have a lot of tables in our room. We have some desks that we can use for independent work, but usually, we do our work at tables.

Thus, this concludes the tour of our class.
