Our class is the best class in the whole world. We have a great teacher, Mrs. Brace. She is great at math ,spelling, and reading. Reading is great because we have more challenging books. Mrs. Brace reads to us, we really enjoyed hearing the story The Talking Earth.

There are a lot of fun things in third grade like cooking apple jelly, macaroni salad, apple salad, and apple snack-wiches. Both third grades do a lot of great arts and crafts, like making fleece pillows.
    We are doing a pride project, we will go to the senior center and do something with them. We might do arts and crafts or put on a show for them. We will talk to them and find out more about them.
    Third graders all get a special present from the Grange! We all got a nice dictionary that we can use at home.
    We have also done Ferrisburg projects. We learned that burg means a city or town. There are two ways to spell Ferrisburg. The United States Government spells it Ferrisburg. The town offices spell it Ferrisburgh. We say that both ways are correct to spell the name. We learned that Benjamin Ferris, a surveyor,  named the town of Ferrisburg and about the first settlements in Ferrisburg. The first settlers were Charles and  Zuirel Tupper.
    In computer class, we learned how to make calendars using Appleworks and learned how to put art in our calendar. We searched on the internet to make the clippings.
    In Physical Education, we have to run the mile this year. It was tiring, but fun. We also have to do fitness testing. There are a lot of parts to it. We also get to play sideline soccer in the gym.
    We have a great time at recess. We play kickball. We also like to play tetherball.
    In conclusion, Ferrisburg Central School is a good school and you are welcome to visit anytime.
