Welcome to a new academic year! This year will be particularly exciting for grade 7 and 8 students in the world of Information Technology education at CMS. As opposed to previous years, this year we wil systematically explore the 21st Century Skills in both grade 7 and grade 8. Much focus will be placed on creativity, analytical thinking, critical thinking, decision making, and other higher level skills that are critical to success in the 21st century. We will explore these skills through a variety of technology tools, including some Web 2.0 tools. Please talk with your student what they are doing in the course to stay updated with his or her education in Information Technology. It will be lots of fun for the students learning about and using information technology while encouraging higher level intellectual skills and abilities.
