Below are the main topics and detailed standards/skill sets we cover in the grade 7 course. In grade 7, the first half of the course focuses on the 21st Century Skills through the game and animation design software Scratch. The second quarter focuses on an interdisciplinary unit where students create a variety of documents such as journals, spreadsheets, databases, flyers, brochures, newsletters, slideshow presentations, etc. while generating data from other applications such as Africa Trail and Oregon Trail. We also focus on the 21st Century Skills in this unit.
